Beach Runners is a beach concierge service, offering local pickup and delivery of customers’ personal beach gear, to and from the public beach locations we serve. All service is performed on foot. No vehicles.
Customers can pre-order service through the Beach Runners mobile app at least 2 hours before the requested pickup time.
Our Runner will deliver the customer’s beach equipment to the selected public beach access point by the chosen delivery time, set up the customer’s beach chairs (if applicable), and neatly stack their remaining gear alongside. The Runner will then photograph the delivery and pin the gear’s geo-location inside the mobile app, notifying the customer that their order is complete.
*Customers may also use the mobile app to order beach return service in the same manner; photographing their beach equipment and pinning its location on the beach, and scheduling a Runner to pick up the beach gear and return it to the customers’ selected delivery location.
*Distance limits apply to all services.

Everything is done through our free mobile app, available on iOS and Android. You can schedule a Runner to pick up your gear at your location (condo, beach house, etc.) and deliver it to your chosen public beach access in our service area; or pick your gear up from the beach and return it to your location. Pre-booked orders must be placed 2 hours in advance of your desired pickup time, and distance limitations apply.

No, Beach Runners is not a rental company, we only provide delivery services. Our Runners will only pick up beach equipment you already own or have already rented somewhere else.

Beach games (if they are packed correctly and can be easily carried - not multiple loose items)

Beach Runners currently operates in the Grayton Beach / 30A area of the Florida panhandle, with plans to expand along the Gulf Coast and beyond. The public beach access locations we serve are shown in the Beach Runners mobile app.

Your Runner will set up your chairs (if applicable) to reserve your spot. They will place your other items neatly beside your chairs. The delivery will be left unattended until you arrive.
Runners cannot set up tents or umbrellas due to safety protocols.

Your cooler should be no more than 50 lbs. A good rule of thumb is 37 quarts or less.
If you are unsure of the weight of your cooler, and want to ensure your Runner will be able to safely carry it, please consider dividing your contents up into two coolers. If the Runner is unable to safely pick up your cooler, they will notify you that the item was left behind due to weight.

Beach Runners expects normal beach recreation items like towels, sunscreen, hats, koozies, frisbees, snacks, etc.
We strongly advise against placing valuables of any kind in your beach bags (items like cash, electronics, purses, wallets, or jewelry).
Your Runner will not check the contents of your bags or cooler, and once your delivery is completed, your items will be left unattended at the beach.
By ordering service, you are accepting all risk of loss or damage after your delivery is complete.

Your Runner will drop a map pin in the Beach Runners mobile app, marking the exact delivery location of your beach gear, along with a photo. You will be notified of your order completion by a push notification on your mobile device. Use the Beach Runners app to navigate to the dropped pin. You also can check your order status anytime inside the Beach Runners app.

NO. Once your Runner marks the order complete inside the Beach Runners app, they will leave your gear unattended, and move on to their next order. Your items will not be secured, so we recommend either following your Runner to delivery, or arriving shortly after you receive the completion notification.
*DO NOT place any valuables in your coolers or beach bags.

The Runner will select the best spot available on the beach at the time of your delivery. Public beach accesses are first come, first served, so the earlier in the day you order a Runner, especially during peak season, the better.

Yes! If you are pleased with your Runner’s performance, we strongly encourage you to tip! Whether you tip with cash or inside the app, 100% of your tip goes to the Runner.
All payment for Orders must be processed in-app only.

Beach Returns can be ordered from the mobile app, just like Beach Deliveries, with at least 2 hours advance notice.
In the Beach Runners app, take a photo of your beach gear, pin its location, and tell us where you want it taken. If you have a tent, take it down and leave it ready for the Runner to transport. The Runner can fold up your chairs and take down your umbrellas.
Please note - all pickups must be complete before sunset. No exceptions.

Yes, you can cancel your order inside the app.
Cancellations less than 2 hours before pickup time will be charged a $15 cancellation fee.
There is no fee if your order is cancelled 2+ hours before your scheduled pickup time.

Yes, you can easily modify your delivery time in the Beach Runners mobile app up until 2 hours before your pickup time.
Rescheduling your order 0 - 2 hours before your pick up time will result in a cancellation, and will be subject to a $15 fee. You will need to resubmit a new Order with your new pickup time.

In the unfortunate event of a service failure (high demand, special circumstance, etc.), you will receive a push notification of Order cancellation and pending re-assignment to a new Runner.
If the Order cannot be re-assigned to a new Runner within 1 hour of your selected delivery time, your Order will be cancelled (no fee) and you will be given the option to schedule a new Order.

The Beach Runners mobile app will recognize that your Order has not been picked up at the scheduled time. Please follow the prompts delivered via push notification. We will ensure that your Order is promptly re-assigned to a new Runner, or you can cancel the Order at no charge.

Keeping our customers and our Runners safe is our top priority.

- Each Runner must pass a criminal background check before they are hired.
- The Runner’s and the customer’s phone number are hidden while communicating through the app.
- Contactless pickups and deliveries are an option to provide a safe and easy experience.
